We know and understand that many local estheticians and laser hair removal clinics do not offer the same services for both their male and female clients alike. That can create for a very awkward situation for male guests.

At Zap Laser, laser hair removal is a very popular method of hair removal for our male guests. When people think of laser hair removal, they often make the mistake of thinking of this as a female service. We have found that more and more men are turning to laser hair removal instead of using their razor or a waxing studio. Hair removal on the back and chest are probably the most popular services among our male guests; however, as they are introduced to the convenience of laser hair removal they are becoming interested in hair removal for their legs, arms, and genitals and very similar to females, even facial hair.

It used to be common for men to only consider hair removal on their legs, underarms and bikini area if they were body builders, competitive cyclists, or swimmers. Today, hair removal is very much becoming more main stream and our inquiries from male guests are increasing every day! We are seeing more male guests going almost as hairless as women.

There are some differences for men's laser hair removal compared to women's. Male hair is usually coarser and so this might require some additional products to reduce skin irritation immediately following the treatment. Redness and bumps can occur; however, they usually go away after a couple of days and sometimes in hours.
